Goo!

In honor of "G" week, our Scientist created Goo! He explained that two liquids can make a solid. He mixed liquid starch and glue to make goo, way to go!

Scientist of the Week!

Our Scientist performed a magic trick when she caused a quarter to disappear! The light rays actually hide the quarter in the glass when water was added. Great job, Scientist!

Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! Today we had a wonderful Pilot Pi day celebration. We made bears out of circles and ate pie for snack.

Scientist of the Week!

Our Scientist of the week performed the "Oobleck" experiment for "O" week! Oobleck is from the Dr. Seuss story Bartholomew and the Oobleck. Cornstarch and water created an interesting texture of hard and soft. Our Scientist even let his friends get involved and put their hands into the Oobleck. Great job, Scientist!

Color Up

Today our Scientist performed the "color up" experiment. He showed us that the food coloring traveled up through the celery stems to the leaves.
